Q. When I’m asked to register for a new course in the new year; am I creating a new ID?

NO. For compliance purposes, your ID for 2025 does NOT require updating unless your name, department, job title, or unit has changed. Your existing ID uses your BNBMC employee email address and your 6 digit badge number as your password. 

Q. I can’t seem to remember my password.

Your password should be your 6 digit employee #. 

Q. I am a MHA and in “My Courses” all I see are courses for Managers , ADNS and Directors; where can I find the courses applicable to my title/division?

Go to the tab on the left hand side that says, “register” and click on the title/division that is applicable to you and then click on the register button. The course will now appear in the my course tab.

Q. Can I just read the presentations; as my pc doesn’t have a speaker and I don’t have a headset.

NO, only courses that are noted as read only are applicable. You must have access to sound in order to have your training be in compliance. The computer lab on the 4th floor by Education has PCs available with headsets if you need to complete your Elearning Training.

Q. Do I have to have 100% on my post test to advance to the next course?

NO, a passing grade of 80% is permitted. If you do not have a passing grade; click on the post test again and repeat the test. Once you receive a notification that you have passed the course; close the menu and proceed to the next topic.

Q. I viewed Crisis Update and passed my test but my certificate is not displayed in the Certificate tab.

First and foremost, please make sure that when you are in the Epicare program; your name appears in the upper right corner of your Login. Many times; staff is logged in assuming that it's their ID and rather they are logged in as someone else. Always make sure that you are using your log in ID to access the system. Our administrative staff has a record of every log in and test result; therefore we can check your ID and either manually issue you a certificate OR have your Certificate post to folder within 3 days.


Q. I am doing my Competencies for my title/division and my courses indicate “started” but not complete and I passed the test, what am I doing wrong?

The Transcript is for administrative use only. Our team is currently working on having a method that will allow you to better track which modules are complete other than the current color change. If you are uncertain; please contact the Epicare office and we will let you know which courses are complete. We recommend that you do them in chronological order.

Q. My certificate is not appearing in the “certificates” tab and I completed each of the modules and received a passing grade.

There could be many factors that are preventing this certificate from appearing in the folder. Due to firewall and other computer settings; we will check the status of your ID and provide an up to date status and provide next steps. PLEASE do not repeat the modules.

Q. My ID is not my employee email address; can I still access the portal?

My recommendation to better services you; all BNBMC employees should use their new work Email address for compliance purposes. Please contact Karen Perez at extension 54418 if you have any questions.

Q. I am a new employee; how do I access this program?

Please visit the department of Education and pick up a trifold with all of the instructions for our Elearning courses. Also, Karen Perez at ext 54418 can assist with instructions on these steps. 

Q. Can I access these courses from home?

YES, you must have internet connection using a PC with Google Chrome and the trifold instructions so that if you need to ensure the links and steps to access and troubleshoot.

Q. Are these the same courses that are offered in Netlearning?

No, these courses are annual competency updates for your specific title/division. If you are unsure; please contact your Nurse Manager for clarification.
